Villa Heldmann, St. Gilgen Austria

2006 bis 2007

The slope landscape of the villa site in St. Gilgen at Wolfgang Lake extends in between new and old residence. Like sickls, the wall slices of corteen steel curve into the green meadow and change in terms of color, relative to weather conditions. A belt of historical roses and perennials gentrys wildly alongside the course of the brook. In total, the garden lives on the contrasts of artificial grass area and small spatial wild colorful plantings of perennials. The individual sitting areas are positioned in a way which allows as well open seating in full sunshine viewing onto the open surface as sheltered seating under trees or within the rose plantings alongside the brook.
