New Residences Vaterstetten North-West. Closed competition. 3rd Prize with Fink + Jocher, Assoziation of Architects and Urban Planners mbH Architekten. The concept of built form arrangement and open spaces takes orientation in the existing structures. Units of built form are mainly surrounded by green spaces and enriched by the extensive green on the roof terraces, generating the effect of “green isles” and creating, like this, the address of the quarter. The whole quarter is enriched by the partially loose, partially flight-strengthening planting of leave trees, f.i. red leaved marple; this space-building by trees in between the “green isles” support the legibility of individual locations within the path network and creates a varied spectrum of view connection.
